Shepherd's House- Transitional Living Center
The mission of Shepherd's House is to rebuild the lives of those who society views as hopeless into sober and productive assets to the community.
Shepherd's House is a long term, residential/transitional housing center for alcohol and chemically addicted men, 18 years or older. They recognize that addiction is a long process that requires a strong support environment, which is exactly what they provide. The facility is compromised of highly motivated, experienced staff, many of whom are themselves are in recovery.
They also serve a large population of homeless veterans, many of whom suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and depression. With hard work, motiviation, accountability, and support from the staff, the clients are transformed. The results are life-altering and, for many veterans, life-saving.
